Speaking of career, I am currently working as a Virtual Assistant in the newly established BPO company in Iloilo City… The VIRTUAL ASSISTANT TECHNOLOGIES INC… A US based company which specializes in the following fields: SEO Marketing, Web Developing, Content Writing, and Administrative Task VA. The company is going strong as we will operate in full blast by opening our phase 2 . We will be using the entire 3rd Floor of the Rosary Building.. Question: When was the idea came into your mind to go abroad?
: Since when we’re in the University.
Q: What motivates you to go abroad?
: To raise my family from poverty, to learn more about other cultures and wanted to experience the life being abroad
Q: Did you site any country where you refer to go?
: Canada, b’coz I’ve heard that there’s a good wage and lots of benefits.
Q: Did it came into your mind to back out in going abroad?
: No, I’m really desperate to go out the country.
Q: Why China?
: China b’coz when I was assigned in DHL Aklan, there’s an urgent hiring here in China for English private tutors and teachers. I saw their advertisement and really caught my attention. Then I applied in the agency just to try but luckily they like me so I took that opportunity.
Q: Greatest challenge you encounter in China?

Business Process Outsourcing is popular in the Philippines. They provide great and majority of jobs in most Filipinos. Among them are some of our classmates who find carriers in some call centers.

Sidney Dagiagnao – “Project Manager to Team Leader”

Simple as he was, this guy is now a Team Leader in TeleTech. A native of San Enrique, Iloilo, whose parents are really supportive in his endeavor. With the knowledge he possess no doubt he could reach what he aims for. In addition with his charms (noun), he easily crosses the test in every carrier.

Jerremitt Ramido – “Metro Transition”

Jerry as we call him, is also a team leader in one of the famous BPO company in the world – the Accenture. With his ability to discuss matters he is really a next person to watch out. His ambition to his family is what he worked out for. But he is always present in every gigs. No doubt he is now a metroboy.

Aprille Dominique Valdez – “Beng in Ventus”

Beng is now a mother to her beautiful daughter. Baby beng is her inspiration in working as technical support in e-PLDT Ventus. With her capacity to make something out of nothing , she is now one of the trusted person in their company. No question about it, she serves as secretary in our class for the entire college years.

Joanna Marie Buenafe – “Fresh from Estancia”

Joan is a simple girl with full of ambition. Currently she is working as an agent at ePerformax. A young lady molded with experience and problems, now working to support herself and for the rest of her family. This girl has been tested for several times with the tragic situation she suffered but despite of it, the tender, love and care that her lola’s gives to her is the basic thing she holds to surpass everything.

Kelly Quilino – “Speaking Klang”

Kelly please sign our clearance now! There’s no question with her, ability plus beauty equals perfect. Klang as her family called her is now certified call center representative. They shared with Joanna in the same company. She is the first amongst us to enter this industry even before as we were studying in college. Now look at her, very famous in their company.

Nestor Pefianco – “Sleep at Estong’s Condo”

He’s leaving socially but if you now him deeply she is so simple like other guys who aims success in every projects and activities. Came from Antique with dreams, currently he is an agent in one of the call center in Quezon. His grass roots is influence with Chinese Culture that’s why he loves Chinese things foods, language, movies even lover? No even friends.

Noli Castanares - “He is Simply Amazing”

Let us also welcome Noli in this BPO industry. For several months of being an agent now he fits to this carrier. With his enthusiasm and ability to know things in step-by-step, he is now familiar with the every transaction he received. In fact he gained body weight unlike the others. Simply amazing? Yeah! The next time we call to Smart be ready for his welcome spiel. That is Noli from e-PLDT Ventus.

Three inforgers have been a part of Filipino working forces abroad or the OFW. They are those people who fortunately given the chance to impart their skills and knowledge in different part of the world and to work for their families.

Mr. Cylas Paul Medina – “Arabs Watch Out”

Cylas Paul or Lalat for short is a guy with distinct characteristics. The journey brought him in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Being known as a chick boy, he believes he has charismatic charms that could attract everyone??!!?? (Arabs beware, joke). Lalat states that everyone deserves something that is really meant for him or her. Recently, he is a secretary of one of the famous company in Saudi Arabia.
